General
What is KrushiGuru?+
KrushiGuru is a free mobile app connecting farmers, labourers, transporters and nursery owners across rural India. Hire workers, rent machines, book transport, buy plants and sell produce — all in one place.
Is KrushiGuru free to download?+
Yes, completely free to download. Some features like vehicle listings and nursery subscriptions require a small subscription fee.
Which languages does KrushiGuru support?+
English, Hindi (हिन्दी) and Marathi (मराठी). Change your language from Settings in the app.
For Farmers
How do I register as a Farmer?+
Download the app, enter your phone number, verify with OTP, select the Farmer role. Fill in your name, photo, and location to complete your profile.
How do I hire a labourer?+
Go to Find Labour, see available workers near you, send a booking request with date, task and wage. The worker will accept or decline.
Is the worker's phone number shared with me?+
No. Phone numbers are shared ONLY after a booking is confirmed by both parties — required by DPDP Act 2023.
For Labour
How do I get work through KrushiGuru?+
Register as Labour, add your skills, daily rate and operating radius. Farmers near you will send booking requests as push notifications.
Does KrushiGuru take a commission?+
No. Zero commission. You get paid directly by the farmer — the full agreed amount.
Can I decline a job request?+
Yes. You can accept or decline any request without affecting your profile or rating.
Who can see my phone number?+
Your phone number is shared with a farmer only after you accept a booking, or after the farmer pays a small contact-unlock fee — never while farmers are just browsing workers.
Is my number safe when I talk to a farmer?+
Once a booking is accepted, or a farmer pays to unlock your contact, calls connect directly to your real numbers — there's no number masking at that point, since you've both agreed to be in contact.
For Transporters
How do I list my vehicle?+
Register as Transporter, tap Add Vehicle, enter your vehicle details. After verification (within 24 hours) your vehicle goes live.
What is the free trial?+
Your first vehicle listing is free for 1 month. After that, a subscription fee applies to keep the vehicle visible to farmers.
Can I mark my vehicle as unavailable?+
Yes. Use the Availability Calendar to mark dates when your vehicle is busy. Farmers won't see it for those dates.
How do I hide a vehicle from farmers?+
Open My Fleet and turn off the ‘Visible to farmers’ switch on that vehicle. Hidden vehicles — and vehicles with an expired plan — are not shown in farmer search. Turn it back on any time.
A farmer picked a date my vehicle is busy — can I suggest another?+
Yes. Open the request in Trip Manager and tap ‘New Date’ to suggest a date you are free. The farmer is notified and can accept or decline.
Is my number safe when a farmer calls me?+
Yes — once a farmer's trip with you is accepted, calls connect directly between your real numbers. Before that, your number stays private.
Payments & Security
How are payments processed?+
Securely via Razorpay — India's most trusted payment gateway. We support UPI, cards and netbanking.
Is my personal data safe?+
Yes. RSA + AES-256 encryption, OTP-only login, DPDP Act 2023 compliant. Your phone is never shared without consent.
How do I delete my account?+
Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account → confirm. Full guide at krushiguru.com/delete-account.
