Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use KrushiGuru. By using the app you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. The information you provide during registration must be accurate and complete.
2. User Roles & Registration
KrushiGuru offers four roles: Farmer, Labour, Transporter and Nursery Owner. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at krushiguru.support@gmail.com. KrushiGuru is not responsible for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Do not provide false, misleading or inaccurate information in your profile or listings. Do not harass, threaten or harm other users of the platform. Do not post fraudulent listings or request fraudulent bookings. Do not attempt to bypass payment systems or evade subscription fees. Do not reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app. Do not use the app for any purpose that is illegal under Indian law. Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.
4. Listings & Content
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the listings and content you post. By posting content, you grant KrushiGuru a non-exclusive licence to display it within the app. We may remove any listing that violates these Terms without prior notice. Animal Market, Machine Rental and Farm Market are open marketplaces — when you post a listing there, your phone number is shown to any farmer viewing it, so they can contact you directly.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
Certain features require a subscription fee processed via Razorpay. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where a listing is rejected after payment (refund within 7 days) or a technical error prevents activation (refund within 7 days). We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 14 days' notice via the app. KrushiGuru does not store your card or bank account information. All payments are processed by Razorpay.
6. Disclaimer
KrushiGuru is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of services offered by users on the platform. We are a platform that connects users — we are not a party to transactions between users. All disputes between users must be resolved directly between them.
7. Limitation of Liability
KrushiGuru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages. We are not liable for disputes, losses or damages arising from transactions between users. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months before any claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Maharashtra, India. We will attempt to resolve disputes amicably within 30 days before formal proceedings.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or SMS. Continued use of KrushiGuru after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. For Transporters
To list a vehicle and receive bookings, you may need an active subscription plan. Fees are charged per vehicle as described in Section 5. You are responsible for keeping your vehicle type, capacity, rate per km, driver details and location accurate and up to date. You must hold valid vehicle registration, permits, insurance and a licensed driver as required by law. KrushiGuru does not verify these documents. You may hide a vehicle from farmer search at any time. Hidden vehicles and vehicles with an expired plan are not shown to farmers. When you accept a trip, or suggest a new date that the farmer accepts, you are expected to honour it. Repeated cancellations may affect your account. Once a farmer's trip request is accepted, calls connect directly to your real number. Do not misuse the calling feature.
11. For Workers (Labour)
The skills, years of experience, daily wage and availability you show to farmers must be accurate. Your phone number is shared with a farmer only after a booking is accepted, or after the farmer unlocks your contact as permitted — never before. When you accept work, you are expected to arrive as agreed. Repeated no-shows may affect your account. Do not ask farmers to pay outside the app to avoid platform or contact-unlock fees. Once a booking is accepted or a farmer unlocks your contact, calls connect directly to your real number.
12. For Nursery Owners
To list products and receive orders you may need an active subscription plan, as described in Section 5. Product name, category, price, stock and photos must be accurate and must match what you actually supply. You must hold any licence or registration required by law to sell plants, seeds or fertilizers. KrushiGuru does not verify these documents. Do not list banned, counterfeit or misbranded seeds, fertilizers or agro-chemicals. When you accept an order you are expected to fulfil it. Repeated cancellations may affect your account. Your phone number is shown to a farmer once they order from you, and calls connect directly to your real number.
13. Communications & Consent
At sign-up you give separate consent for the Privacy Policy and Terms, and for how your mobile number is used. Each can be ticked independently. We send OTP and service messages about your bookings, orders and payments. These are required to run the service and are not marketing. We do not send promotional SMS and we never sell your mobile number. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account from Profile → Delete Account. Withdrawing consent ends your ability to use the service.
